Teacher Allegedly Snapped Over A Bathroom Situation, Pulled Student By Her Hair

One science teacher was completely out of her mind if reports are true about her hair-pulling tendencies.

According to AJC, Tracy Parham, an eighth-grade teacher at Henry County Middle School, dragged one of her students BY HER HAIR to remove her from the class.

Parham now faces criminal charges after she was ordered to turn herself into the Henry County jail on Friday.

The 14-year-old student, Sequoia McMillian, said Parham became mad when she asked another teacher for permission to go to the bathroom after Parham said no.

That’s when the horrific dragging happened.

“My neck snapped all the way back,” McMillian said. “I didn’t think that a teacher would do that.”

The January incident was reportedly captured by the school’s surveillance system. A school resource officer who peeped the video filed a battery charge against Parham.

It’s not clear what the teacher’s employment status is, and the district has yet to comment on the incident as of Friday. However, a recording was sent to parents on Thursday notifying them that a Henry County teacher was ordered to turn themselves into the sheriff’s office on Friday.

The student’s mother, Latrice McMillian, said the school should give Parham the boot after such an audacious and violent act.

“Why should she be at the school grabbing and (jerking) and dragging kids?” she asked.

Questions with no answers.
