Exclusive “The Last O.G.” Season 2 Screening

We had the pleasure of attending TBS’ exclusive screening of “The Last O.G.”Season 2 with some of the flyest influencers, tastemakers and cool somebodies at The Gathering Spot in midtown Atlanta.

Guests were treated to complimentary cocktails, tasty bites, hip-moving grooves (courtesy of Big Tigger) and a special 2-episode first look at Season 2 of the hit TBS series that follows Tray (Tracy Morgan) who returns to his newly affluent Brooklyn neighborhood after a 15-year prison stint.

For starters, he’s a father to twin sons born to ex-boo Shay (Tiffany Haddish) who’s now married to a successful white man helping to raise Tray’s private-schooled teenagers who can’t relate to their dad’s rough and tough BK upbringing.

Wishing he could connect with his kids but having neither the money to support them nor himself, Tray relies on some well-worn skills to make ends meet while treading unfamiliar territory. And yes, there’s plenty of hilarious banter between Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish sprinkled throughout the show.

After the screening, 11 Alive’s Natisha Lance moderated an informative panel featuring show director Maurice Marble, TBS Development Exec Olivia Norris and Urban League of Atlanta Director Angela H. Marshall who discussed making quality shows for us by us that touch on real-life issues like post-prison rehabilitation, Tiffany & Tracy’s comedic brilliance, chasing your dreams in a not-very-diverse Hollywood and much, much more.
