Deontae And Deontrae Wright Named Valedictorian And Salutatorian At Ohio High School
This is EXCELLENT.
Identical twins Deontae and Deontrae Wright are making national headlines for being named Valedictorian and Salutatorian at Ohio’s The Scott high school. KWTX reports that Deontae is Valedictorian with a 4.5 GPA while Deontrae is right behind him as the Salutatorian, with a 4.4 GPA.
The Wright brothers are also well rounded and both of them have more than 70 hours of community service and two jobs.
“We both like to compete against each other,” says Deontrae who was born moments after his brother. “We want to score higher than each other.”
“It feels awesome knowing that I put in the hard work and got something out of it,” said Deontae, the Valedictorian. “It feels great at the end of the day.”
The brothers told the news station that they pushed each other throughout the year up until the very end.
The twins who clearly have a tight bond are sticking together post-graduation. KWTX reports that they both have full rides to The Ohio State University to study electrical engineering and want to start their own electrical engineering firm once they graduate.
Congrats to the twins!
