Mother And Daughter Arrested For Murder Of Grandmother
An Arizona mother and daughter have been arrested for the murdering grandma and cashing her monthly checks according to AZCentral.
The two women confessed to the crime after a concerned neighbor called the cops saying they haven’t seen Sandra Aven in “quite some time”.
When first questioned about her grandmother’s whereabouts 24-year-old Briar Aven told detectives that she was traveling out of town. Briar’s mother, 46-year-old Tara Aven, was also asked about where her mother might be and it was then that police noticed inconsistencies in the women’s stories.
When police entered the house they found the body of an “obviously deceased person” who was later identified as grandma Sandra.
Mother and daughter would late confess to killing her in 2017 and cashing her monthly checks ever since.
