Kodak Black Reportedly Arrested At The U.S. Border
Kodak Black has reportedly been arrested at the United States border.
TMZ reported that Kodak was still in custody after a canceled Boston show early Thursday morning, claiming the rapper was arrested on weed and gun-related charges. Kodak along with three other people were reportedly stopped by Customs Agents on Wednesday, at which point Kodak is said to have been taken in on criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor possession of marijuana charges. Police say Kodak Black had marijuana and a Glock 9mm pistol that he did not declare inside the Cadillac Escalade he was driving. He was trying to enter the country from Canada at the time of the arrest.
On Wednesday night, prior to the news of his arrest, Kodak’s show in Boston was canceled for what were unknown reasons at the time–pissing off a lot of fans who were already inside the venue at House of Blues.
Kodak’s recent headlines have been anything but positive, though that’s not really anything new for the controversial Florida rapper. Black has been engaging in a back-and-forth with T.I., which started following his insensitive comments about Lauren London. Multiple other rappers from California have called for a boycott of Kodak out of respect for the late Nipsey Hussle.
Kodak Black is among four Florida men arrested at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge and taken to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of bail. They’ll all be back in court in May.
