Katt Williams To Pay Fan He Punched $25,000

Katt Williams is in hot water after blowing off a lawsuit against him.

The comedian has been hit with a $25,000 judgment after not answering to a lawsuit filed by one of his fans, who claimed Williams punched him in the face. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a Georgia judge has granted a default judgment in favor of Tyrell Williams.

In 2016, Tyrell Williams sued the comedian and accused him of punching him in the face at an after-hours party. Williams claimed that following one of Katt’s shows, he attended an after-hours party and began to Snapchat a picture of Katt.

Allegedly, Katt began to approach the fan “suddenly and without warning” and knocked his iPhone out of his hand. Williams claims that the comedian then struck him in the face three times with a closed fist and exited the lounge following the attack.

Williams said in his lawsuit that he suffered injuries and mental pain and that’s when he sued the comedian seeking unspecified damages.

The fan has now filed docs to start the process of seizing Katt’s assets to collect his $25k judgement.
