ESPN’s Will Cain Capes For Kate Smith

Will Cain has one of the most punchable faces we’ve ever seen. That observation is apropos of nothing, but it’s worth being noted. Seriously, he might as well have Everlast tattooed on his face, but we digress.

Yesterday, we reported that both Kate Smith‘s statue, as well as her rendition of the “God Bless America”, is removed from the Philadelphia Flyers arena and from Yankee Stadium.

Subsequently, the overtly Republican ESPN analyst appeared on First Take with Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman yesterday to voice his WASPy displeasure at the fact that this sacred history that he values so dearly is being infringed upon because “a few people”, see Black people, are outraged.

Let Will tell it, the racist, slave-owning, anti-Black white folks who America has propped up for HUNDREDS of years are now somehow the victims of the country’s growing social consciousness and progressive idealism.

It’s not a surprise that someone like Will Cain would feel this way, but it doesn’t make it any less irritating.

And to liken Kate Smith, someone who sang a song called “That’s Why Darkies Were Born”, to President Obama…

ESPN must REALLY want those Kaepernick-hating conservative viewers to come back. SMH.
