Russell Wilson Buys Seattle Seahawks Linemen $12,000 In Stock

Serial great guy Russell Wilson just did another awesome thing.

The Seahawks Quarterback/Ciara’s loving husband gifted the offensive linemen who protect him on the football field $12,000 each in Amazon stock.

The news comes from TMZ Sports who pubbed a super sweet letter that the HIGHEST PAID NFL ATHLETE sent to his brethren.

“Every Sunday we go to battle together,” Wilson wrote. “… You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide and care for my family. … This does not go unnoticed and it is never forgotten.”

“When I sat down to think of ways to honor your dedication a dozen different ideas came to mind,” he added “Some were flashy, some were cool, but I wanted to give you something that had a lasting impact. Something that would affect the lives of you, your family, and your children.”

According to Russell, Amazon is the perfect company to invest stock in because it’s one that will “grow and change the world.”

There are 13 offensive linemen on the Seattle Seahawks which totals $156,000. That’s definitely not hurting the Wilson family’s pockets; Russell’s new 4-year contract is for $140 million.

Russell is known for his generosity; he visits Seattle Children’s Hospital every Tuesday and his The Why Not You foundation recent started a new teen empowerment campaign called “Dream Big: Anything is Possible” that provides resources through community libraries and encourages STEM education.
