Lee Daniels Says There Is Deliberation About Jussie Smollett’s ‘Empire’ Future
It looks like Jussie Smollett’s future on Empire is hanging in the balance.
According to TMZ, Adam Glyn caught up with Lee Daniels on the streets of NYC and he revealed that he’s literally in the middle of a discussion about whether or not to permanently cut Jussie from the show.
There appears to be a lot of waffling about if Empire can still afford to keep him public relations-wise and character-wise.
To make matters even more tenuous, Fox has not greenlit season 6 yet.
