Tanya Sam Recovering After Hospitalization

A “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star is revealing details about a recent hospitalization. Tanya Sam was recently hospitalized following what she thought was a minor car accident. The RHOA “friend of the show” revealed to fans that she’s been recovering in L.A. after realizing she was more injured than she thought.

“So, remember that car accident that I was in Friday?” said Tanya on her InstaStory while at Cedars Sinai hospital. “Turns out it might have been more serious than I thought. Turns out I was having some bleeding probably from the seatbelt impact trauma.”

She also added that she wasn’t feeling well at Tina and Richard Lawson’s Wearable Art Gala but initially shook it off. When she went to the hospital, however, doctors discovered that she was having gastrointestinal bleeding.

“Saturday I had that [Wearable Art] gala and I was actually pretty sick, turns out I was having some GI bleeding,” said Tanya who was hospitalized for 36 hours. “My test are cleared.”

Tanya also told fans that she and her fiance Paul didn’t alert fans about her condition at first “while in the thick of things.” She added that her bleeding was likely caused by “forcible compression to intestines and stomach” causing vomiting blood and bloody stools and urged fans to continue to wear seatbelts.
