90s Singer To Finally Support Teen Son As Part Of Bankruptcy Repayment Plan

112’s Q Parker has agreed to finally start paying child support to his one-time mistress turned baby mama.

The “Cupid” singer filed a new repayment plan in his bankruptcy last week, and he OK’d making $200 a month payments to his son’s mother Leah Steele Barnett to help care for their now 13-year-old son, according to court papers.

However, the amount is just a fraction of the $2,250 a month a judge ruled that he had to pony up to care for the teen, who was born while Parker was married to wife Sharlinda. Barnett has said that Parker never paid child support, and his debt is now close to $300,000.

Parker’s proposed plan also means that the married father will get to keep his Atlanta-area home, which is currently in foreclosure.

Under the plan, Parker will pay his creditors $1,800 per month for the next 60 months, and beginning in August, will pay $500 a month on his outstanding mortgage debt on his five bedroom, four bathroom house.

He agreed to hand over any tax refunds he receives until 2022, according to the plan, which was obtained by BOSSIP. Parker will also return two cars – a 2014 Audi and a 2011 BMW – to the leaseholders, the plan says.

We exclusively revealed that Parker filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, claiming that he owed up to $500,000 to 50 creditors, and had less than $1,000 in the bank.

A judge has yet to rule on the plan.
