“Top Gun” is so iconic and Tom Cruise-y and cool that we’re not quite sure why a sequel was necessary but it’s on the way with a slick new trailer that actually looks pretty darn amazing:

“Top Gun: Maverick” soars into theaters June 26, 2020.
