Doctors diagnosed that Vada Vasquez will make a full functional recovery after surviving a bullet to her brain.
Doctors say the bullet pierced the left side of the Bronx teen’s skull and went all the way through and she was very, very lucky to have survived such a thing.
Vada’s mother is overjoyed that her daughter has survived such a serious injury and says she will never forgive Carvett Gentles the 16-year-old accused of firing the bullet that struck her daughter. Vada’s mother said this will be a happy holiday season for her now that she still has the life of her daughter. Carvett and the four others accused of taking part in the Vada shooting are in custody at Rikers Island.
