2020’s wildest reality TV moments include rowdy read sessions, binder bashing, sibling scuffles, and cooky craziness that kept people sane even as pandemic pandemonium persisted.
One such example of cooky craziness is none other than Netflix’s “Tiger King.”
Let’s revisit that wild ride in all its glory.
Netflix’s “Tiger King” Brings Us Joe Exotic Vs. Carole Baskin & Allegations Carole Killed Her Husband
Netflix’s “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness” made waves in 2020 and kept people entertained in quarantine.

It followed the bizarre story of former “Presidential candidate” Joe Exotic the eccentric mullet-rocking former owner of Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park owner and his “cool cats and kittens” greeting rival Carole Baskin.
Joe was sentenced to 22 years behind bars for an alleged murder for hire plot to kill Carole and the show drummed up speculation that Carole killed her first husband Don Lewis by dousing him in sardine oil and feeding him to wild felines.

Carole was BIG mad about the speculation and called it “misinformation” and “salacious”, she’s since gone on to appear on Dancing With The Stars.
As for still incarcerated Joe, he’s pleading with Kim Kardashian to get Cheeto In Chief to give him a Presidential pardon.

Now, THIS was wild. In 2020 Bravo introduced the world to its latest housewives franchise, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which started with a bang—and a marriage to a stepgrandfather.

Pentecostal Pastor Mary Cosby tumbled onto TV screens and opened up about tying the knot with her late grandmother’s second husband. Mary wed her step-grandfather, Robert Sr., at 22-years-old following the death of the family matriarch. She claimed the move was what her grandma wanted and it divided her family and her church.
“I was actually 22 when we got married,” said Mary noting that she’s glad that she trusted her grandmother while calling the situation “bizarre.” “It actually split our church. My mom had a fit because…she wanted my grandmother’s place [in the church] and felt like she was the one that should be marrying Robert Sr.”
She’s since admitted that she thought it was weird to marry him but says she felt she made the right choice.
“I didn’t want to. That’s weird to me. But [my grandmother] really did want me to, so I obeyed her. I trusted every word. And so I obeyed her because I trusted every word. If she managed to bring this church this far, then she has to be right. And look at my life,” an emotional Mary shared. “I chose right.”

Ex-Friends Monique Samuels & Candiace Dillard’s Cabernet Combat On The Real Housewives Of Potomac

We often call it the Cabernet Combat/Shiraz skirmish but it was ultimately a dustup at a winery between Real Housewives of Potomac Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels. The wig grabbing, wine tossing fight has left fans divided between being #TeamMonique who say the four-home having housewife was provoked when she grabbed her castmate by the hair and hit her in the face, and #TeamCandiace who think the former Ms. United States didn’t deserve the dragging.
Monique and Candiace filed charges against each other and in both cases, they faced potential jail time if a second-degree assault conviction had been made—but both cases were dismissed. It’s since caused a firestorm of controversy from people claiming the fight was a “horrible” representation of black women, to people alleging that Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon somehow played puppetmasters to the fight behind the scenes.
It was a LOT and definitely a wild moment for the housewives franchise that found its footing this year.

Brandi Glanville Claims She Same-Sex Smashed Denise Richards On The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

Another wild reality TV moment courtesy of Bravo, during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills a rumor persisted that housewife Denise Richards had a same-sex affair with former housewife Brandi Glanville.
Glanville was adamant that the affair happened when she visited Richards on her movie set in April 2019 and she said outright; “I f—— sucked on her f—— c—. I have a close f—— relationship with her!”
On a #WWHL Brandi also spoke out on the alleged affair and said they made out in a bathroom before hooking up.
Denise was adamant that it never happened and was PISSED that her castmates continued to bring up the rumor. Her only real ally was new housewife Garcelle Beauvais who had her back throughout the season.
Ultimately Garcelle’s support wasn’t enough to keep Denise around and she left the show.
Monique Samuels’ Binder Bashing At The Real Housewives Of Potomac Reunion
Ahhh yes, we couldn’t leave Lisa Frank Monique Samuels’ reunion shade off of the wildest reality TV Moments list.

Monique Samuels made jaws drop during part one of The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion when she brought out a well put together binder and left Gizelle Bryant virtually speechless.

Monique claimed she had text messages from Gizelle’s ex-husband turned “boyfriend” Jamal Bryant that the Pastor sent to his alleged real girlfriend. Mo’s texts allegedly included pictures of the man of God in the woman’s bed.
Monique read out texts of the Pastor allegedly downplaying his relationship with Gizelle and also read out Jamal’s phone number. Gizelle begrudgingly confirmed that the number was indeed his and Mo called him “Pastor Holy Whore.”
“If you’re going to come for my family and my relationship, I’m coming right back to you,” Monique said adding, “Your pastor boyfriend is swinging his big D around his congregation, even in Atlanta as we speak and you know it. You’re a fraud.”

That epic moment has lead to a very messy response from Jamal Bryant about Monique and her husband Chris Samuels and the Pastor and the couple trading cease and desist letters.
