I’ll buy it. I like T.McMillan. Hopefully all that drama she went thru with her gay ex-husband will make for a great novel.

@ugh What: I understand what you mean, but that is why we as BW have to keep our heads held high and keep it moving! We have survived for years with these negative comments and we will keep surviving! The negative comments are meant to destroy us and make us feel bad about ourselves, but we are still here! I am glad you got that off your chest.

  • monique

Good for you Terry…she climbed out of a cave/dark place in her life and it’s others of all colors that faced the same drama.

LMAO @ Marquis de Sade. Co-sign that. 1) “Mama” was her BEST book. Everything after that was just too durn repetitive for me. Storylines, settings, plot conflicts, EVERYTHING. Even the characters started running together! 2) If I could smell the lip gloss on that ex of hers from here, why would I still be interested in her ‘literary insights’ on love? LOL.

Seriously though, I won’t be buying this. While I do make it a point to support Black authors, it has to be something I want to actually read….

    • Black Pearl Creations

@Don’tGiveAWhat, I wonder how many people don’t even realize she wrote “Mama”, “Disappearing Acts” and “The Interruption of Everything”.

My copy of “Mama” is threadbare. I encourage everyone to read it; go outside of the box.

    Interested? Not really!

  • kwani

    wow. she’s still mad.

  • whoa

dang, i hope she got some good caribbean dingaling while she was there. that seem like the only thing that mellow this hateful heffa out.

  • Tboo

I will support you Terry, however, you don’t appear to be happy. I think you need to focus on being happy. And let the bitterness go already. Smile girl breathe exhale.LOL!

  • Bomboclat

@Redd STFU! You didn’t understand a word she wrote. You sound like a raving lunatic.

@ugh what? You’re smart. You’re exactly right. Without context they’re just smearing a generation of black women and men.

McMillians tripe is just that, an attempt at selling a shiny turd to the masses that consume this kind of propaganda. I mean, look at some of these posters.

  • YepThat'sRight!

I wasn’t ready for the first one. Sounds like more garbage no matter who stars in it.

  • Jamaquina.Cubana

    Yeah, not really!
I mean, if it was maybe 4-5 yrs after the first one but over a decade!? Who’s gonna play whom!!?! I would’ve LOVED to see the outcome of the decisions the first set of ladies had made, THEN! But now, I dunno!!

  • KLoven2Sexy

What is it going to be for this new generation. Ready to twirk it. Just playing-LOL-I’m Bored
