Baby Mama Wants Player Barred From Moving Assets In Child Support Case

Antonio Cromartie and his first baby mama custody and support battle over this son is turning nasty.

The NFL free agent has accused his child’s mother of failing to tell him she would be incarcerated, and she’s demanded an injunction barring him from transferring or selling off his assets before the case was resolved.

Cromartie and his baby mama Rosemita Pierre have battled it out for years over his first child Alonzo. He now has 13 children in total.

The NFL star’s rep has stated that Cromartie was awarded custody of their son in 2009. In 2012, Pierre blasted Cromartie in the press saying, “He’s supposedly a role model, but he’s not doing what he should be doing as a father, or as a man.”

She claimed the NFL star had been trying to gain custody of their son Alonzo and said he interfered with her communicating with their kid.

In January, the judge in their custody battle determined the mother was fit to resume taking care of their kid and awarded her child support, makeup time and custody. Cromartie was also ordered to pay the baby mama $4,000 a month in child support but he appealed the judge’s decision he did not make the payments. The court then issued a warrant for his failure to pay the support.

Months later, he reportedly used a portion of his new $3 million deal with the Colts to pay off a child support dispute with Pierre and a court ordered warrant was withdrawn as a result.

The battle between the NFL and his baby mama is much nastier than reported, revealed in court docs filed recently by the parties.
