She is telling the truth and maybe since she has to fight some demons she really knows what not having integrity looks like… People but so much more value in money over character and integrity but even the bible says that money will not save anyone in the world darkest hour… Most people heart will never be open to the truth until it is too late because when you love money more then God and yourself you are already disconnected from his voice to hear a things even you are approaching that dark day…

Looking good Whitney. I think this was a better interview than the one she did with Oprah. She looked much more relaxed and was able to let down her guard and she definitely spoke the truth about the music industry today. I’m still pulling for her.

to bad people dont think like her, music should be about love like the 70s every song was about love being in love falling out of love great socially consious songs were out to what a great generation black people actually loved themselves and were proud of their heriage. now its about my b**** bad and girl shake it and drop low

    ????
At no point in the interview did she mention Lady Gaga.

  • Rip music offically died in 2009

Yes she talking about lady ugly if the shoe fits ok y’all that slow all what she said fits lady ugly discription

  • SEEKER OF TRUTH

I do not agree this concept although Whitney is entitled to her opinion. In the 80’s there were artists that could be considered ‘DARK’, however, Lady Gaga is NOT dark she is different.

Lady Gaga is expressing herself as she wants too and if she considers herself walking art then so be it. Not every artists style needs to be the same, this is why the world is diverse. I do not even understand why she is even using the term dark other than to push her Christian agenda.

    How lame and hypocritical.

Poor Whitney just stay to positive press for yourself.

    Damn

Stop effing with Whitney. She didn’t mean nothing by that statement. She even mentions that she isn’t speaking of no one in particular.

What every one needs to kno is that there steady decline in morals for every generation ok what anybody did then back then is far less worse than what they do now get a clue people

  • Soul Touch

Oh please, Whitney has her own demons to deal with, stop worrying about others.

  • Soul Touch

In the end, people like to test their limits. Share what they call art. Don’t like it, don’t support it.

Each generation change but it don’t mean that you have to go along with the program. Whitney runs circles around your best entertain. Cracked throat and all.

These trash can w h o re need to do what they do best and bottom feed.

The only talent you see in today’s entertainer is who can spend the most money and f u c k the best. Other than that they are completely boring but you wouldn’t know that if you don’t know talent.

Agree. I wouldn’t exactly use that language but your point is a valid one.

“Other than that they are completely boring but you wouldn’t know that if you don’t know talent.”

Hun, people are allowed and capable of forming their own opinions and tastes when it comes to music.

I am not a fan of Gaga, so I could care less. But spare me with the idea that your choice of music is the only and proven option of talent.

    Get over yourself.

  • Soul Touch

CORRECTION: Hun, people are allowed and capable of forming their own opinions and tastes when it comes to music and what they find as entertainment.

When you have grown up on real talent and music the stuff that’s out there now just seems like a diluted version of it. Like whatever you want to like but that’s why artists like Maxwell and Sade can came out the box after being away for years and kill it because people are hungry for music that they can feel and not just hear.

  • resurrected

I don’t see me being a Lady Gaga fan either some time this music and the life and crowds that surround themselve around certain types of music comes off as zombies to me… I love music like anyone else but life should be about balance meaning it is not your only option or resource in life.

And that you should continue to support. Most of the artists I support are not mainstream, but I do my bit in keeping them afloat by purchasing and supporting their music.

But everyone has their own drive and thrills…and they are entitled to it.

There were artists in my days that older generations thought were worthless and bs…but for my generation they were revolutionaries to the airways.

    @Soul Touch

I agree with you wholeheartedly on that. There have been many artists over the years that I have supported that were not mainstream. These artists were about something but just never got the exposure they were due. What I have a problem with is certain music and artists
being constantly shoved down our throats 24/7 that lack the talent that more deserving artists have.

It’s all about taste and preference which is relative to the individual. Thank God we all don’t like the same things.
