Wow! RIP & indeed one of the best hip hop artists.

  • Why

A true legend. These so called rappers these days can’t hold a candle to him. If you want to see true hip hop look up his work on Youtube. The Jazzmatazz album series is hip hop at it’s best. Listen and learn.

This very sad but my beef is w/ cancer i mean if you look around in the music biz right now there are a few ppl out there that you (cancer) can go after and save my ear..i will not mention any names but all of you can find 1 person.

RIP Guru he was definitely real Hip Hop. This hits close to home, because my father pas-sed from cancer at the age of 53, mom currently battling cancer, and I just found out that NOW my daughters’ grandmother on her father side has been diagnosed with late stage breast cancer as well. Sad.

sorry another human life was lost to this deadly decease. I wish his family and friend the best.

  • Ms.EJ

@SYDNEY- Thank you. I just found out literally *sigh* but, I continue to pray and stay encouraged. I also pray that my daughter will not have to experience that since there is a strong history of cancer on BOTH sides of her family (my side/her fathers side). I meant to ask you how long ago was your mom diagnosed? and if she had to make changes (if any)to things she ate? The doctor I met at the health fair was telling me certain foods to eat and chemicals to still clear from.

Wow This is crazy. 43 is way too young to lose your life but he left bbehind a legacy that will last of decades. RIP GURU!

  • stacystaxx

no one ever seemed to question this brothers sexuality. not one to tarnish this brothers legacy, but Solar is known to be DL and he was keeping the family away from Guru. And Guru was the first to phrase “Homo Thug”.
