Vanity Fair profiled Jaden Smith, the 11-year-old star of the upcoming Karate Kid remake, who also happens to be Will and Jada’s son. More flicks under the hood

And from what Jaden had to say in the article, it sounds like being a child actor is more work than fun. He says that while he has been studying karate since age 5, he practiced three hours a day to learn Kung Fu. Jaden says didn’t get to see the sights of Beijing, aside from the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, because he was working. He also says he missed out on the local cuisine because he ate burgers while filming the production… He does say he enjoyed working with Jackie Chan though! Taraji P. Henson plays his mom in the movie.
