It’s so funny to hear people say this like its a bad thing. Listen no woman wants to do it alone but if she has to its a beautiful thing to know she is able to – and that goes for ANY group of women. It is not just a black woman who realizes she doesn’t need a man to do what she has to do to survive its just that, due to our black men’s unwillingness or inability, we have been forced to realize it much much sooner!!! Black woman would be a darn fool to sit around waiting for a black man to rescue her and everyone knows that! Sistas can barely, without the man stepping in, get a black man to take care of his kids. She’s supposed to wait around for him to take care of her??
