Don’t be stupid a person wouldn’t do that unless they really needed it. They know who mlk was. It’s better than robbing somebody. And it’s just change. God bless him

I know if MLK could see into the future he wouldn’t have wasted his time trying to defend a people full of trash.

  • Sha

    Oh well….he’s tyrone!

  • She's Nicole

Black people don’t even honor him, they rather honor undeserving money hungry leeches like beyonce and jay-z that is why blacks get screwed over and will continually get screwed over by the system. gutter rat monkies.

@She’s Nicole, you do a horrible job at trolling. You’re not supposed to make it that obvious that you’re trying to incite anger, even though you rarely do lol. FAIL. You could learn a thing or two about being a troll from Hannibal.

It’s some change and desperate times breed desperate people. I’m not judging anyone for being desperate enough to get a pond and take change. The man could have been starving. @RazeKane – I agree with you.

Are you THAT damn broke that you have to still coins from a damn fountain?? SMH… I hope times NEVER get that bad for me.

  • GymCamelToe

    Times ARE that bad!

  • Ms.Brilly

Are people mad because he took money from a fountain or because he took money from the MLK fountain? When you’re broke and you’re trying to eat or feed your family a fountain is a fountain, MLK or not. I don’t see what the big deal is. Maybe the folks that are offended would feel better if this dude robbed them instead?

  • Ck1

It’s only because these days there is no need to even ask, because people just don’t give freely anymore..

  • Tiphanie

How much money can you get from a fountain that would make THAT much of a difference? And where I’m from they arrest people for taking money out of a fountain because they consider it stealing. Now I don’t know about y’all but I’m not about to risk going to jail over a few coins…

  • kk

ppl need to understand that not everyone is as fortunate as we are. the way i see it, if ppl threw money into a fountain, it’s free game 4 anyone to pocket that money if they r truly in need.

it’s like finding money in the street… dont act like none of u never pocketed that ish.

jus be glad homie wasnt robbing ppl. if it was a regular fountain, would u have cared as much??? smh

  • candi

someone asked if the money in the foutain could make that much of a difference…umm yeah, have you not heard of dollar menus? he could eat a meal from the change he found in there, because I’m sure some people throw more than just pennies in the fountain.

i think people are saying it’s a shame bc it’s an mlk fountain. it wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it were a “regular” fountain. i’d rather the money be used by someone needy (if it came to that) than to just sit in the bottom of the fountain. the owners of the fountain i’m sure don’t come by and collect the money thrown in so it just sits there. i liken it to finding change on the ground in a public space.
