  • Matix B

now we need the rest of good black music to come back too STAND UP DAVE HOLLISTER!!!!

  • TMoney253

Finally some real R&B is coming back! Instead of a little white boy screaming Baby Baby Baby!

  • Spongetta Citronella

    Dave Hollister starting singing Gospel

I miss Shai, Blackstreet, the OLD R.Kelly, The OLD H-Town, Silk, Jodeci. etc

    90’s R&B was that FIRE!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, glad to know K-Ci & JoJo have “come clean” & I hope they stay clean b/c there are so many pressures in that cut-throat music industry

  • Thicklikecornbread

@ TMoney, I consider Justin Beiber pop music. He will NEVER be R&B

  • Matix B

I know he started singing gospel, that’s where I know him from. So gospel isn’t black music ???

    I wish D’Angelo would come back…

  • TMoney253

@ Thicklikecornbread That’s what people are classifying him as, sadly.

    LMBAO @ Devotee!!!

    No you didn’t!😀😀😀

  • Bey-nonsense

to keep making good r & b music they gotta “give up that narcotic” lol

If this true then this is a GOOD LOOK!! I miss real r&b. I wish Kenny Green of Intro was still alive so that Intro could make a full come back. Them boys could SING!!! Matter of fact almost all the male groups back in the 90’s knew how to SAANG!! Technology and the immature bird brain youngins have f-cked up black music. We passed the torch and this generation dropped it to go chase after money and become bafoons.

  • what_am_iDoing

Come and talk to me….i really wanna meet uu, come and talk to me!!!!!!!!!!!!….

  • Spongetta Citronella

Of course gospel is black music. *rolls eyes*

I thought u were referring to Dave’s R&B days. He was a member of Blackstreet

  • Spongetta Citronella

@ TMoney, I will shank whatever f00l that would even utter the words that J.B. was R&B

  • bklynlady

Off the rocks?! Thats a damn lie! Didn’t Kci just pass out on stage while Jojo ignored him and kept performing? They’ve been on crack for just about 20 years…….I doubt that they are clean. However, I wish them the best cause Jodeci was the sh*t! As well as Kci and Jojo.

  • Matix B

Spongetta Citronella: Thanks but I am well aware of that fact since I grew up in the 90’s. David is my fav so that’s why I only mentioned his name.

  • Matix B

I would have typed R&B music instead of Black music. Reading is fundamental.

  • wtfever

    Love Them!

  • Matix B

and since R & B actually was derived from gospel music my original comment still stands… @@@rolling my eyes@@@

  • Devotee

Lmao@bk yo I remember that I was on the floor right there wit him that was funnysad. Now I’m thinkin about the temptations when he was singin at the piano lmaooooo

  • GreeneyedBandit

  • Matix B

KC pissed on stage, now someone school me on that one please……??? WTF????

Devotee…you need to stop, cause I done spit out my diet coke from LMAO!

“can’t nobody SANG like Eddie Kane Jr!”😀

  • Spongetta Citronella

Black music was a general adjective & could have been substituted for multiple things. If thats the case, wasnt rock & roll & jazz all started off of “Black” music.

    *sighs & rolls eyes*
