BOSSIP Meets The Director And Cast Of ‘Step Up 3D’

- By Bossip Staff

Earlier this week BOSSIP met up with the director and cast of Step Up 3D just in time for the film’s premiere. We got a chance to see an exclusive early screening of the film and get to know the actors and dancers a little bit. Check out our interviews below:

We interviewed the director John Chu about working in the 3D medium, spoke to lead actress Sharni Vinson about disguising her Australian accent to play an American girl and talked to dancers Twitch, Legacy and Harry Shum about competition and hookups on the set!

We loved the dance sequences in this movie, our favorite is the scene with Moose and Camille dancing in the street. Check it out this weekend and come back tell us your favorite dance scenes in the comments section!

@ Ashley…lol…hard being Bi-racial white girl sometimes isn’t it..When race disparacy issues actually and hionestly crop up..It makes you uncomfortable..Black White..Black White…Just b e glad you look exactly like your preferred White Woman Moms…

With that with it Rap and Hip Hop is the easiest thing in the world to emulate..takes little talent and anybody can do it..Hip?Hop is NOT an art form anymore at all..Any type dance that can easily be taught at any local run of the mill not an art form of “True Dance” technique…like ballet, interpretive dance etc..

WW ‘s Moms will sleep with the whole country club if men to assure their lil Ashley’s get dance, to ballet, to gymnastics, soccer in their childhood..Their Dad’s footing the bill of course…These WW are groomed to be athletic to dance oriented…

White people now EASILY wear the title of Soul Artists while Black s are astill just “talking” into a Mic..a Grand Maw can do that…and sicned childhood are exposed to DANCE art forms even as WW cheerleaders…NOT us..

  • Curious1

White people are killing the Dance game because Black people do NOT…will NOT expose their lil girls to all forms of dance like WW will..let alone gymnastics..WW Mom’s will bust you up side ya day’em head if their kid doesn’t make cheerleading or gymnastics let aloine a spot on some dance ish…

We have LOST our SOUL not only in Dance but Singing..Others are running the game now..yet singing our old classic songs to OWN the title of SOUL artists and Dance Extraordinairres..

Black people have let hip hop..naw..rap…sell our souls…for the highest bidder..

i,too, have danced since i was 5 yrs old from dance to gymnastics to ballet…and the difference shows..
