Facebook: Taking ‘NO PRIVACY’ To The Next Level

- By Bossip Staff

Why would you want all of your Facebook friends to know where you are 100% of the time?

The social networking site launched a new feature this week called Facebook Places. The new feature shares your location with your friends and borrows heavily from existing services like Foursquare and Gowalla.

Seriously though, I’m gonna delete my FB account, This bullcrap with them as far as maintaining privacy goes is WAY out of control! I don’t need anyone to know where I’m at or what I’m doing ALL THE TIME! That’s for the Good Lord Himself to do. Holla!

  • It's Me

Or really “Stalkbook”??? If you really must know where I am and why I only check in with you once a week, here it is: I am on youtube, twitter, friendster, hi 5, and most importantly – Myspace exchanging phone numbers with your staff members. Happy now??? WOW, Facebook!

That’s how people be getting robbed and it’s been on the news!!!!!!!

You say that you’re out of town on one of those sites and people that want your sh*t (*friends, people that have been to your place via a party, etc…) know the “coast is clear” and your goods will be as good as gone!!!

Go ahead and post where you’ll be at (*out of town) and how long you’re going to be, see what happens soon or later SMMFH…

If you haven’t learned already = not everybody that says they’re your friend, is your friend…

FACEBOOK starting to get outta order…not feel this new app

Wow. Well, this is just wonderful news for all the Ike Turners of the world, the community of unstable, jilted boyfriends, the rejected, embittered husbands. The creepy guy at work who never talks to anybody but spends waaay too much time in the mens room. Probably sniffs your chair after you’ve gone home for the day. And, of course, let’s not exclude the bevy of psycho b*tches who will find this new feature particularly interesting. I can predict requests for restraining orders are gonna reach an all time high. Waaay to go, Facebook. Why take into consideration the safety of your 500 million subscribers when you’ve got bigger fish to fry – like ranglin’ in all that advertisement money.

I guess I can throw my 4 yr restraining order out the window then huh?? RIP too me

  • TheOriginalBlkBarbie

I hate FB. My friends begged me to get it and now I feel bad deleting it…BUT I also feel violated! I love my privacy and the majority of people on FB are stalkers! I keep my page as bare as I can because not everyone needs to know my biz. Please and thank you.

  • soon to be mom

I feel you LuvN Life. There is something really disturbed about wanting a constant update of your friends, family, even strangers. I don’t care about someones current status, tweet or feed. N*gguh please. I got bills and sh*t. The only reason a person should use those sites all day everyday is to generate revenue. The rest of y’all are frontin and straight stalkin.

  • kalifa

if you dont like facebook just DELETE

  • Kam89

Well If You Don’t Want The Feature, You Don’t have To Get It, And Common Sense Says If You Don’t Want All Ya Business Out There, Don’t Put It Out There. Ya’ll Make It Seem Like Facebook Has No Privacy. You Lose Ya Privacy If YOU Put Ya Ish Out There.

‘Charging folks’? Whutchu talkin’ bout, Willis?

To disable: From your Account menu, chose Privacy Settings, click Customize and then Customize Settings. Under Things I Share, you can change Places I Check In and People Here Now.

Also, if you don’t want your friends to check you into Places, sharing your current location with a bunch of people you may or may not know, go down to the section called Things Others Share and find Friends can check me in to Places. Set this to Disabled.

Slide, I saw that on the news too.

Ipersonally don’t like facebook and twitter. People tell too much information sometimes. I don’t care to know about peoples doctors appointments or what they did in the mcdonald’s parking lot. But to each is own.

  • Black Knight

    This is some bullsh***t.

  • bklynista718
