    i grew up in st. louis so this is NOT surprising… fortunately my family decided to move from the midwest years ago. its unfortunate that many of these areas listed are midwest cities that at one point had thriving industrial and manufacturing jobs but are now basically on the brink of collapse. its no wonder crime is out of control in these areas… depressing.
