Syndicated TV personality and radio host Egypt Sherrod is the latest celebrity to share her big day with Essence Magazine’s “Bridal Bliss.”
Egypt married her long-time boo Mike Jackson on September 11 in New Jersey. The lovely couple was serenaded by 112’s Q Parker and Coko of SWV fame. Mike’s quotes to Essence are so adorable.
“She brought me closer to God,” Mike says of his new bride. “She just makes me stronger with that feeling. It’s easier for me to speak about the spirit now.”
After being pronounced husband and wife, Mike says he was ecstatic. “If you could name every word in the dictionary that means happy and joy, that’s what I was feeling,” the new hubby said.
