Jay-Z is a good grandson. For the 85th birthday of his grandmother, Hattie, the Brooklyn-born hip-hop mogul and his wife, Beyoncé, picked her up in a Rolls-Royce and took her to the Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook, a space with stunning views of the Statue of Liberty. The guests were entertained by dancers from the Boys & Girls Club when they weren’t dancing themselves or devouring the Southern cooking.
