Juan Williams Gets Axed By NPR For His Anti-Muslim Statements!!!

- By Bossip Staff

Well it looks like Bill O’Racist Reilly smugness and his mouth has stirred up trouble once again! After his controversial comments he made on “The View” last week that caused Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar to exit stage left, he lured in a dumb ‘Uncle Tom’ to agree with him!

Former NPR talk-show host and news analyst Juan Williams made some unsavory Muslim remarks on O’Reilly’s Fox show “The O’Reilly Factor” on Wednesday night. Turkey neck O’Reilly asked Williams if there was a “Muslim dilemma” in the United States to which Williams replied,

“Political correctness can lead to some kind of paralysis where you don’t address reality. “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot,” Williams continued. “You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Well of course that buffonery of a comment sparked the Council for American-Islamic Relations to call for Williams head! They claimed that Williams statement about fearing Muslims is seen as bigotry. They also claimed the comments “irresponsible and inflammatory” and that NPR should not let this go without action. Watch the video of Juan Williams comments below.

Williams who is seen as an liberal counterpart on Fox to the conservative hosts or guests is not new to controversial comments. He once described First Lady Michelle Obama as having a “Stokely Carmichael in a designer dress thing going,” of course a reference to the former militant African-American activist. Was NPR wrong for firing Juan Williams? Watch the video of Williams post firing below.

Sad. The statement would have a different meaning if he had taken out the ‘muslim garb’ piece. Sorry to hear. He did a lot of work with Julian Bond and CNN and so forth. Let see how long before he finds another job. He is good at what he does, no need to be afraid.

  • slimpickens

I feel the same as he does, regarding the airplane and its occupants. I do no consider myself a bigot nor racist. It is what it is.

    • Jack O'Lantern

And that doesn’t mean you aren’t.

  • WTF

Why is he an Uncle Tom?? THAT is racist.

  • SoulSista

LOL when someone has to start off a statement with ‘you know i’m not a bigot’ its because they ARE a bigot! They were right to fire his azz, now he can join Bill “All terrorists are Muslim” O’Reilly & the rest of their bigoted clan. He will fit in perfectly.

  • beckytwg

I agree w/ all 4 comments. However, you might not agree with me when I say that because of our current President, the “LIBERAL” media is even more on alert to any disparaging remarks against Muslims. Even, if Sen. McCain would’ve been elected it would probably be the same. We need a Ronald Reagan type back in the OVAL OFFICE

Dumb uncle tom unlike Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck your black a-s-s can’t make stupid comments and keep your job because no matter how much you keep licking those Rebublican boots at the end of the day you’re still a n-i–g-g-a. That’s how they keep boys like you in your place.

    • white male

he got fired from his job at the liberal station not his job at the conservative one

    • the truth hurts

U are a follower. You call people racist but don’t you have to say something in order for it to be racist.

    he’s a racist and a kiss a.s.s. too.

  • white male

I am pretty sure the thing he got fired from was the liberal station he works for.

Uncle tom comment more racist I think.

NPR was wrong.Props to Juan for:

    1) Saying what many non-Muslims
-which is most of us-are thinking.

    2) For trying to carve out a niche of social / political thought that does’nt kiss the
a.z.z. of liberal or conservative overlords.A worthy fight Juan.

He should NOT have been fired. NPR gets much of its money from liberal organizations (google Annenberg Foundation and you’ll see it’s just a liberal propaganda machine)so NPR wanted to save face with them and keep the dollars rolling in.

Juan is a ignorant uncle tom like the stupid people here who agree with him. There are Muslims all over the United States who are not apart of any kind of Islamic militia. They work each day, pay taxes, and live a normal life. I’m so sick and tired of limited intelligent people attempting to clump groups of people together based race, religion etc. Stupid is as stupid says. I saw him up at the Jefferson Memorial last summer with his white woman I wonder does she like him now that he’s unemployed. karma Karma karma it most definately comes around.

Stefany I agree totally. He just got his black card back.

As much as black men are ridiculed and stereotyped he should be the last person to judge any one base on race, creed, or dress code. The comment he made about being scared when he see’s a Muslim on a plane how does he think a scared white woman feels about being in an elevator alone with his black monkey a-s-s. Everything he thinks about Muslims white people have the same opinion about him.

He should have been fired! That’s what he gets for being an Uncle Tom. Ha! Bill O’Reilly still has his job though, and he’s going to the unemployment office. Ha!

  • fr

calling someone a house n is racist. you ignorants welfare scum. just because you don’t agree with al sharpton and welfare.

  • hmm

Why is it the Council for American-Islamic Relations asked for him to get fired but not for bill . And when is it wrong to voice your own thoughts I mean they might have been right but that is what he felt like saying . I thought this was America?

Whenever you start a sentence with “you know I’m not a biggot” or “I don’t mean to offend anybody” chances are you are going to offend a lot of people.

Why put out a disclaimer if you know what you are about to say isn’t controversial. It upsets me when I see black people act that way just to be “cool” with the white man. Just 40 years ago, we were in that same position as muslims today. Being disrespected and called names and we didn’t like the feeling.

  • Thaddious

I identify as Muslim, but I was not offended by what he said.

There’s a big difference between expressing a prejudicial fear and acting on it.

White people have said and done far more offensive things with no loss of income.

    Shades of the USDA firing-

  • Thaddious

Funny how the only people who get fired for racism are black. I’ve filed 2 discrimination complaints and those whites are still getting paid-

  • Rob

If more black men were like Juan Williams we would be a better society with less crime, you dumb clowns.

    • no neck willie

if more black men where like juan williams we would all be unemployed you clown!

  • say what!

He was only saying and thinking what millions of people think every time they enter a plane, a building, a room etc and see a person in Islamic or Muslim garb. Its no different then when other ethnic groups see a black man dressed a certain way, or white guy etc. Now, Im not saying that its right, But this shyt happens every freakin day.

  • Dude

Unfortunately for him, he’s too brown for the networks to wait until people stop talking about it and rehire him like they did with Imus. I mean, I’m muslim and I took more offense to what Don Imus said about those players than what this guy said.
