Friday Freakfest: Happy Halloween Countdown Of Bossip’s Best Hood Horror Flicks

- By Bossip Staff

For better or worse, 1972’s Blacula started a legacy of low-budget horror movies made for the hood. While some, like Blacula and Bones put in a valiant effort, most of them remain some of the cheesiest films in the history of filmmaking.

Check out ten of the best Hood Horror Flicks of all time, with the pioneer “Blacula” as a bonus. Mind you, “best” in this case means just means they managed to hire at least one big name or actually make it into theaters. Because these are pretty terrible across the board. Happy Halloween.

I saw Blacula and that was it. I actually like it. The only thing I didn’t like was the make-up on him. I even saw Scream Blacula, Scream with Pam Grier.
