If you’re Rihanna, how do you make up for skipping out on maid of honor duties at your best friend’s wedding, just weeks after you sneak dissed her on the radio? Get her paid. And if you can get her away from the husband you don’t like at the same time, that’s just a bonus.
Rih Rih’s trying to convince herself that she’s not selfish the media that Katy Perry isn’t feeling some type of way about her missing the Bollyweird wedding she was supposed to be a major part of.
Pop star Rihanna revealed that she will have a duet with Katy Perry. Rihanna also said she plans to conduct a tour with Perry.
Speaking to MTV News, Rihanna said that she and Perry are working on some tracks, while going further to say that she would love to have Katy Perry on a tour.
“We’re actually working on some music together – hell yeah,” said the pop star.
“I would love to tour with Katy. She’s a rock star. And when I see her live, she just brings such a fun vibe, like a colourful rock star.”
“She has all these props. She has candy and fruit and a blown-up ChapStick onstage, but then she’s rocking out with a guitar and banging her head and swinging onstage and crowd-surfing.”
Wait. But why would you miss the wedding when you OD’d on the bachelorette party?
Rihanna had previously told E! Online that “the only reason I couldn’t make it was I was really really swamped with work.”
“I’ve got an album coming out in two weeks, I have a lot going on, I just switched management…I needed to be close,” explained Rihanna.
So, when she was in the middle of recording her album, Rihanna made time to party. But now that “Loud” is probably at least 90% done, she couldn’t make time for the wedding? Womp.
