Sigh: here we go again. Kanye West vs. the media, round 6,317.
Apparently, Matt Lauer finally got wind of Kanye’s pistivity about his Today Show appearance earlier this week. And Matt’s response is that it’s really not that deep.
“It’s something we do every day when a guest is talking about an incident, or a location, we run video of that location, or that incident,” Lauer explained after airing segments of the ‘Ye interview. “There was nothing improper about it, nothing unusual about it whatsoever. And we should mention that President Bush was here on Wednesday, he appreciated West’s apology. so, that’s what all the hubbub is about.”
Of course, Kanye is still tweeting about the incident, and got his panties in an even tighter bunch now that the Today show announced a post-Thanksgiving performance which Yeezy is basically saying will happen when hell freezes over… Eveb though he’s not mad anymore and has no hate in his heart, according to HipHopWired.com
And I don’t hate Matt Lauer… We don’t promote hate. That’s the whole point!!! I promote love and truth. We’re all products or our environments … reflections of our surroundings..You know what ….WE OFF THAT!!!… They made a mistake… they thought they could pull it but they couldn’t! That was just a small……representation of a bigger media play that’s been going on since the beginning of time. All positive energy … all smiles. Much love to Matt and the whole Today Show.
We hope one day Yeezy figures out how to stop letting this dumb little kid sh*t overshadow great music.
