Why On Earth Would Anyone Rock This Monstrosity

- By Bossip Staff

Ladies, there has got to be a limit to how much you’re willing to suffer for fashion!

These nine-inch heels are real shoes, set to be released next year.

The Sky Heel will be the tallest shoe available to regular customers and is so high that few footwear manufacturers, until now, would dare to make them.

The Sky Heel, available in sparkly red or gold will not cost an arm and a leg at under $100 a pair – although navigating on the sky high heel might take some balance practice.

A spokesman for the firm said the design was inspired ‘by the catwalk for the sidewalk’.

He added: ‘The Sky Heel was fuelled by customer demand to mimic the celebrity look. We’ve seen the five-inch and six-inch, and we’ve even seen the seven-inch heel’.

‘The trend is bigger, bigger, bigger – and the Sky Heel is the biggest of them all.’

But a news study suggests that women’s passion for killer heels have caused them to receive medical attention or even be rushed to hospital because of their killer heels obsession.

Researchers say that a fifth of females have gone to such extreme lengths to wear trendy shoes that they have ended up twisting their ankle or tearing a tendon.

And a third have fallen flat on their face as a result of their heels, with many damaging their teeth and breaking their wrists.

Would you rock these sky high heels?

This shoe is not just horrifically ugly because of its over-sized heel but its also dangerous. I wear heels on the regular and I’m pretty comfortable in most 3-4 inch styles but this this utterly ridiculous. If this was designed strictly for celebs, and they’ve got security and bodyguards at their sides waiting to catch them when they tumble, understood.
But, for the average Jane, even a Stripper Jane, like one commenter suggested, forget it -walking in these would be work, dancing would be a joke!
