Legendary emcee and Roc Nation mogul Jay-Z recently decided to pay a second visit to veteran journalist Charlie Rose to discuss his book Decoded, as well as discuss his past, present and future in Hip-Hop.
During the interview, Jay-Z touched on why he decided to rewrite Decoded and why the original version was too much to read.
“I am normally a private person,” Jay said in the interview. “So when I first sat down to do the book, it was very personal and hard for me to read because it was very personal. It was not only about me and Hip-Hop, but my family and friends and things of that nature, so it took me a long time to brace myself to be that open for the world to read.”
