Atlanta Customs Agent Popped For Running Almost $3 Million Dollars Worth Of Ecstasy
A U.S. Custom from the Atlanta suburb Stockbridge was arrested along with several others in connection with a drug smuggling scheme that federal agents had been investigating for months. Apparently, the operation was centered in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport, which is surprising seeing as its one the countries busiest with the most security.
A Delta employee was also among 13 people charged in the three-month federal undercover operation that led to the seizure of more than $2.8 million worth of the drug ecstasy.
U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said it was “the largest ecstasy seizure in the county this year.” About 700,000 pills were seized from a house in Chamblee.
Both Big Meech and Larry Hoover would be greatly disappointed in these folks.
