While the hope of finding love isn’t a far-fetched notion, the beliefs that we shared as young girls are fairy tales that have been replaced with the somewhat harsh realities of what being in love really entails.

As we’ve grown out of our naïve anticipations we suddenly realize that those fairy tale love stories must have been reserved for fairies only, because real love is sometimes far from what we could have ever imagined… Continued at MadameNoire.com

My friend Vanessa, a 25 yrs lady, has announced her wedding with a m’illionaire young man Ronald who is the CEO of a MNC. It’s amazing, she said she just posted her profile on a m’illionaire d’ating s’ite called ———-RichMatchmaker. ℃○M——– – and received his chat invitations a few days later. princesses get prince charming soon to be king, not u concubine wh0res…each d1ck u let slide up in that pu$$y is taking u a mile away from ur rendezvous point with ur knight in shining armor…but in reality, u ladies wanted equality and so, gave up special treatment so us men don’t got to do sh1t for y’all cuz once upon a time we did and women said they didn’t like it and look at y’all now, begging for a man to marry and be chivalrous to u but ironically women b1tched to do it themselves and now they see how hard it is

So I take it you have some deep rooted issues with the feminist movement, women’s rights, etc.? Could it be that we never stopped looking for the prince charming, but the prince charming STOPPED looking for us???

Whatever, I could care less, I’ve had my king charming for many years now and he treats me like his queen…

  • rfg_nyc

    THANK YOU!

I respect your comment, but I do have to say this…I will NEVER stop being amazed at how simple men are. It’s like you can’t think for yourselves and you constantly need someone or something guiding your life’s decisions. What on earth is so hard about still being a gentlement but co-existing with a woman who can now make equal pay, vote, have a voice, be sexually liberated, etc.? Why do those things equal men acting like beligerent heathens who cannot control who they are and what they do? It truly amazes me…I’m not looking for you to answer me, it truly is a rhetorical question…

BIBLE!! I don’t get it either!! As much as it burns a man up to have to do anthing for a woman, namely the black man, you would think he’d appreciate a woman independence instead of whining over it like a child..

Beyond that for a group of men who, though his abandonment actions, has forced women into their own independence I really don’t get what the problem is?? Do black men not think women would love nothing more than to have him as the head of his household, head of his table – providing for the family?? Do they think we just woke up one morning and said “screw a man I want to do everything alone”?? HECK NO!! But through the abandonment issues she is faced with she has no choice. Whether it be the black man left because:

    1) He made some dumb decision that ended him up in jail

    2) killed by violence

    3)Gay – DL

    4) His woman got into a higher tax bracket adn he began to feel “emasculated” and had to leave

    5) or better yet he got into a higher tax bracket and decided he needs a woman of another race

    6) she got pregnant so he chose to abandon her and the child…..

whatever the case may be the black woman is faced by so much abandonment by the black man that she was left no choice but to take her independent strong woman stance and do it herself.. What is she supposed to do – decline and have nothing?? The black man DROVE the black woman to be what she is today and I just don’t get when he bytches about the “monster” that HE created!!!

  • Fleur DE lis

@ Dahonest truth: u are absolutely right. I was trying to open up and say something similar, but as soon as I made one comment. I immediately got attacked …and basically went on a childish word for word argument with someone else…completely down playing my intelligence. However, I am happy that someone feels the same way.

I say you can’t expect no one to save you if you’re not strong enough to save yourself. I believe there are “Prince Charmings” out there, but he’s not looking for some sad excuse of a woman. If you are not a queen, how can you expect to be with a king? Want only want you are willing to give back in return. That’s how I got my fairytale….

    • lord montgomery

      well said …..

  • Nana
