A human fetus was found in an airplane from the Middle East after landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Monday night. Randy Ohdo, an airport cleaner, discovered the 6- to 7-month-old fetus in the Etihad Airways flight EY 428 that arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 at around 10 p.m..
The flight came from Abu Dhabi.
“Nakabalot pa nga ito ng napkin tapos noong itatapon ko sa basurahan, nakita ko iyong ulo (It was wrapped with napkin and when I was about to throw it into a garbage can, I saw its head),” Ohdo told ABS-CBN News.
Ohdo said he immediately informed his supervisor about the fetus. He said they would not be able to identify who abandoned the fetus because cleaners can enter the plane only after all the passengers have left.
The fetus was brought to Veronica Funeral Homes in Pasay City. Last December, a human fetus was also found in a comfort room inside the airport. Three months before that incident, a female overseas Filipino worker abandoned a newborn baby in a Gulf Air plane.
The baby, later named George Francis, survived even as he was left by his mother in a trash bin of a lavatory located at the back of Gulf Air flight 154.
So it’s a regular occurrence for people to do this???
