Shakira Breaks Up With Boyfriend Of 11 Yrs And Posts On Her Blog

Another day, another break up:

The Colombian pop superstar, 33, and her agent-boyfriend of 11 years, Antonio de la Rúa, separated in August but remain friends and business partners, the pair announced Monday on Shakira.com.

“We made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship,” they write. “We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives.”

Shakira was rumored to be linked to Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué in recent months, though she denied that.

In Monday’s note, she and de la Rúa, the son of a former president of Argentina, said their “friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible.” They also called their 11 years together “the most wonderful years of our lives.”

Yeah…she’s getting some of that young “futbol” meat now…we can’t even be mad….those soccer dudes be bangin!!
