  • Pr3ttyGalCoko

    Ya Kno!!! lol

If he were alive today I believe he would be dissappointed in the lack of progress our people as a whole have made.

    Dr. King greatly missed

if only the world could practice what MLK preached…they’ll be so much peace

  • Tony Redds

I love Dr. King because whatever he marched for, he changed. He risked his life everyday until the end. For his wife Cloretta Scott King to remain by his side amist the controversy, showed the strength of the black woman my his side.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR !
My friend Vanessa, a 25 yrs lady, has announced her wedding with a m’illionaire young man Ronald who is the CEO of a MNC. It’s amazing, she said she just posted her profile on a m’illionaire d’ating s’ite called ———-RichMatchmaker. ℃○M——– – and received his chat invitations a few days later. Then, everything went so well that I can’t believe it’s true! Every love story will unfold on it’s own..——-
Jesse’s a “bad boy” tatted up biker so his women either have to be similar to him or VERY accepting of his ways/lifestyle…FACT!!!

  • ReALiSt (Mr InTeRnATiOnAL iN LoNdOn WaTcHiNg NFL PLAYOFFS oN SkYsPoRtS!!!)

Dr. King did his thing and stood up for what he believed in – and I respect him for that… If what he BELIEVED IN AND MARCHED was good or not is another story… I just think we shouldn’t have MARCHED, and allowed ourselves to be used by other MARGINALIZED PEOPLE especially the JEWS – without knowing what we’re going to after that… THE JEWS HAD THEIR PLANS LAID OUT, AND THEY USED DR. KING AND ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE TO ACHIEVED THIS – BUT WE AS BLACK – OUR CONDITION DETERIORATED AFTER THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT…

When are we going to start celebrating OUR REAL HEROES LIKE:

    JOHN HENRIK CLARKE
    MALCOLM X
    MARCUS GARVEY
    HUEY P NEWTON ?????

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. KING!!!

    • Tony Redds

If ask me, our condition continued to deteriorate because each individual still had a lack of individuality and a purpose. I study and celebrate the aforementioned leaders as well. We dont need a holiday or media coverage to do this. Each one reach one. The Jewish funded the NAACP the ACLU etc but there is no difference now.

    • lawd da mercy

All our civil rights leaders deserve recognition true,
but we as a people are steadily making advancements.
Our U.S President is black, remember?

    • ReALiSt (Mr InTeRnATiOnAL iN LoNdOn WaTcHiNg NFL PLAYOFFS oN SkYsPoRtS!!!)

      I hear that, brah!!

But it shouldn’t be an “individual” responsibility – our fathers and mothers fought for civil rights as a group – and the pseudo-leaders should’ve created a masterplan of what to do next… The civil rights to me is just over-celebrated fight with pseudo-leaders, and gullible followers… The JEWS just used our people to achieve their own goals – they PLANNED everything – and black people were just as PUNS to get their way… That’s why they gave NAACP, and some HOUSE NEGROES at the helm of affairs to just keep the gullible black people down…

We had blackwall street – but the Jews stole it from us and created WALL STREET…

MLK fought a good course but he was BAD LEADER… He was just like the BIBLICAL MOSES who parted the RED SEA but had no plans for his people after – thus resulting in them suffering more than they did in “EGYPT.”

    • Curious1 aka Flawless Beauty

JMO… but i don’t think we were “authorized” nor “allowed” to have but ONE main spokesperson..approved by the government…MLK was FDA approved..

  • I'm Just Me...Keeping It Real Since: 1983

THANK YOU DR. KING for all you fought for even though I am sure you are rolling in your grave now for the way people are acting out here, now. I am so sorry that so many are taking for granted something you had die for.

  • lawd da mercy

I think the kids SHOULD be in school today.
A day full of learning about tolerance of other cultures and everything Dr. King stood for, instead of just a day off.

  • lawd da mercy

See this is exactly what we don’t need on a post about MLK.
Some fools just have to be ignorant no matter what. SMH

Thank you Dr. King for sacrificing your life,
so that we can have a fair chance.

  • It's Me

RIP my brother! If it were not for you, all blacks would prolly be picking cotton and still being looked over 100%. Thanks for all you did, you are truly missed, and well appreciated.

This is strange. I am trying to post a very decent comment about MLK and I cannot but thse two posters doing all this unnecessary arguing in this MLK thread get every word up for everyone to see. SMH!!

    • DaHonestTruth ~ Always Keeping it Real

wow – and this posted too but not my MLK comments??

  • ReALiSt (Mr InTeRnATiOnAL iN LoNdOn WaTcHiNg NFL PLAYOFFS oN SkYsPoRtS!!!)

    @lawd of mercy

You’re one dumb bytch – get off these nutz already… I don’t give a f*ck about a MLK or any other black man over-celebrated by these CRACKAZ… Any black revolutionary that the CRACKA loves is definitely NOT GREAT… Same goes for over-celebrated NELSON MADELA, DESMOND TUTU and W.E.B DUBOIS….

The great black revolutionaries don’t celebrated…

Maybe, your ignorant should pick up a book and READ ABOUT STEVEN BANTU BIKO’S “BLACK CONSCIOUSNESS.”

    STEVEN BANTU BIKO’S BLACK CONSCIOUSNESS…

That is a great black brother that told you about everything you need to know about WHITE HYPOCRISY..

    • daresay

Wow!!! Truth is bitter but must be told.
Dude, you spit knowledge when you are not clowning around…hahaha

You should have added Mugabe to the list of Black Revolutionaries.

  • DaHonestTruth ~ Always Keeping it Real

Further up Realist spoke of Marcus Garvey and others who while they fought for our right to liberty, life and the pursuit of happiness they never taught that we had to be accepted by anyone. They simply fought for our right to have a good life just like everyone else.. This is the way MLK should have taught as well. Of all the oppressed races/groups in history not a single one – not even the oppressed Jews or Asian/Middle Easterners – begged for acceptance. They fought for their right to exist and taught love and strength among their own and that rememberance and act of UNITY is probably the reason Jew and Asians own everything today.. If we had followed that same formula – gain our freedom and rights – while teaching love among our own and an tolerance of those who will hold us down I believe we’d be more unified today.

During the Civil Right movement we should have been teaching love and unity among our own broken families instead of teaching acceptance from the white race. We never needed acceptance from the white race – what we needed was RESPECT and that message got lost..

Again as much as I respect MLK, his struggle and his best of intentions I cant help but point out that perhaps his exact aproach was not what we needed at that time!! Yes we needed the RESPECT he fought for but not the begging of ACCEPTANCE..

    Just my two cents!!

    • Boomboomroom

      HOTEP!! SISTA! STAY BLACK!!

  • DaHonestTruth ~ Always Keeping it Real

GOD BLESS MLK and his LEGACY:

That being said – as much as I respect MLK and what he stood for I cant help but note that his goal of ACCEPTANCE is a big part of the reason the black race in this country is so divided today.

  • DaHonestTruth ~ Always Keeping it Real

In my opinion MLK taught blacks to beg for acceptance and in doing so made blacks lose a huge part of themselves and love for themselves. Sometimes when being accepted by someone means so much to you you begin to lose who you are, what you stand for and what you believe in because being accepted by that entity becomes your priority..

    @ DA HONEST

I feel you ma ! I dont think this thread is the place for my usual one sided clowning of this dude realist !

I get into thread and see him bringing my name up when I`m not on here so i addressed him. But because I have some SENSE UNLIKE THIS FOOL I am not going to use this thread to take him apart verbally.

I HOPE YOU CAN POST WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT DR. KING BECAUSE HE DESERVES ALL THE PLATITUDES HE GETS.

  • DaHonestTruth ~ Always Keeping it Real

I believe this is whats wrong with alot of blacks today. Our need for acceptance has made us put the unity of our own on the back burner. Just look at this blog and how some will sit back and praise the white race, namely the white woman, while steadily bashing and tearing down their own.
