The family of a Fulton County teen is fearful for her safety. Bianca Barnes, 16, hasn’t been seen since Thursday morning when she left for school. “I want my child back, I can’t sleep, I can’t eat,” said Bianca Barnes’ mother.

Barnes’ parents say they last time they saw the Mays High School student when she was headed to a MARTA bus stop near Greenbriar Mall on Thursday morning. “I just think that when she got to the Park and Ride, maybe somebody threatened her and she got in the car with somebody and they took off with her and from there I don’t know,” said Barnes’ mother.

“She didn’t come home Thursday, and this is not my daughter. This is not my daughter, she’s been manipulated and held against her will,” said Barnes’ father. Bianca’s father is a Fulton County sheriff’s deputy. He does undercover work and does not want to be identified. “The person who is keeping her, he’s got all intent to harm her. And that’s a big mistake,” said Bianca’s father.

Friends say Bianca has a boyfriend in his 20s whom they claim has pulled a gun on the teen in the past. That’s why family members think she’s being held against her will. Investigators believe his name is Joshua, and he lives somewhere in southwest Atlanta.

“We want our child home, turn yourself in,” said Barnes’ father. Several law enforcement agencies are involved in the search to find the missing teen. Atlanta Police ask that if anyone has any information on the missing teen to call them.
