In White Folks News: Mom Sells Her Young Sons Toys On EBay As A Form Of Punishment!

- By Bossip Staff

Damn, forget being grounded, this is one helluva punishment!

Used to be, kids were made to take a timeout when they acted up, or maybe even a spanking. But now, parents have other options, like selling their treasured toys on eBay as punishment.

One mom, fed up with her boys’ fancy spinning tops and how they wrecked her bathtub, decided to gather the offending tops — the popular Japanese manga Beyblade toy — and put them on eBay. She even posted a picture of her sons, one clearly in tears, while the younger one has a mug shot look, resigned to his fate, as he holds up the zip lock bag of Beyblades to present to the buying public. (See image above.)

She put the picture and the toys on the auction site, attracting the attention of 4Chan, a community known for galvanizing quickly around a common cause. They ganged up on the hapless mom, daney21. The opening bid for the 8 toys was $69. With 4Chan in the mix, the bids soon rose to over $9,000, and finally to $999,999 before the auction was closed, most likely on daney21’s request. She sent a message to one of the 4Chan bidders that shows her frustration and perhaps realization that she was being pursued by forces way beyond her comprehension: “Do you plan to pay over $9000.00 for the beyblades or is this a joke to you because this has been a problem all day and I am going to report to ebay.”

A search for daney21 or her eBay Beyblades entry, which was posted in early February, came back with zero results.

We can’t reprint what 4Chan users wrote, but here’s a link to some of the screenshots taken by Urlesque.

No doubt, some of the attacks against her arose after reading her description of the sale:

We are selling 8 Beyblades, 2 of them light up. As you can tell they are not happy about this! They have been using their bathtub as a “battle arena” and Beyblades + Bathtub = Destruction!!! With the metal ones they managed to scrape the enamel off the tub, take a chunk of tub out and break off the soap holder. SO if you “win” this auction DON’T play with in a bathtub!!! We have recieved a quote of $500.00 to replace the tub, some tiles, and soap holder + labor of course! They had approxamently $125.67 in their piggy banks that will be going to toward the cost. We will use the profit from this auction towards the balance and then it is onto other toys!

This is a cold mutha right here! But we bet her lil bastards won’t cause anymore trouble for a while that’s for damn sure!

Is this taking the idea of “punishment” a little too far??

“In a black household, a child will get beat half to death for forgetting to feed the family dog, but in a white household, a child will get timeout for setting the family dog on fire” -Katt Williams. Nuff said.

She took it too far. It’s wasted money on her part. She’s gonna turn right back around and buy him some more toys. If it’s THAT serious, she should just buy a safe! He won’t crack the code!

    • daisy jay

Are you serious? So you agree with Hannibal?

I’m gonna be a broken record for a second. It’s obvious that many blacks come from broken homes. Oohhhh how shocking *pure sarcasm*. So many black women think they can raise their children on their own. They can, but to an extent. It’s tough to raise a MAN. Don’t even start because you know the rest.

And you KNOW you see white children acting out in public all the time. Some black parents can be too tough, but don’t think for a second that whites are better at discipline; are tougher. That will never happen. If anything, the kids will beat their own mother up. I’ve never seen a black child act crazy like little white kids do.

      @ jmagic

How about factoring in socio-economics and how it plays a part in crime rate….even in trailer parks. How about a justice system that is ladened with sentencing practices that don’t fit the crime when it comes to US. How about the over policing of Black communities. How about 70% of the drug users being white but 90% of the people locked up for posessing them are Black and Latino? Come again with that bull$h!t question?

    • Illuminate Truth "I'd rather die as a lion than live as a lamb"

      @ daisy jay true.

If you are in Wal Mart and see a Black kid acting up in aisle 4, he’ll be getting that a$$ whipped by aisle 5. If you see a white kid acting up in the same aisle, by the time you see him in aisle 5, he’s holding whatever it is he was having a fit over in his spoiled little hands…just smiling away. Meanwhile the poor little Black child is now in aisle 6 with tears in his eyes, wiping snot from his nose and rubbing his a$$ trying to ease the pain….

    • Illuminate Truth "I'd rather die as a lion than live as a lamb"

      @ daisy

That’s probably why white children grow up to be white adults with that false sense of entitlement they all seem to possess.

    • daisy jay

Exactly. Hit the nail on the head.

  • ms.brilly

Call me cold but I don’t see a problem with it (in theory). I wouldn’t have put a picture of my kids on ebay (privacy issues… plus that’s a little cruel). However, I don’t see anything wrong with her getting rid of the toys.

  • WTH!!??!!??

OH PLEASE!!!! My mom did the same thing to me all the time.. and you know what.. I came out just fine!! My dear ol’ mom had me out front in the front yard selling my own toys because I destroyed her house with them, didn’t appreciate what I had and so forth. At least these little brats only had to stand for a picture.
Those two little boys are old enough to learn that when you destroy something there are consequences!!

  • if anything be noble

What is wrong with this? She told them not to play with the toys in the tub. They played with the toys in the tub. The toys destroyed the tub. We don’t keep buying tubs. So off to ebay we go. Good for her. We will have no problem in Target next time. Won’t be no whining for gum, for the dollar stuff, for slurpees…. (….don’t think they should have to foot the whole bill, though.)

  • Ellie

I didn’t like that she put their picture on the internet BUT really there’s nothing wrong with what she did. They were out of control and she punished them as she should. If you don’t learn discipline at home prepare to be disciplined in the streets…

  • Boondock Saint

I’m not supposed to laugh but that picture in her ad is hilarious. Lil’ man on the right definetely has that future FBI’s Most Wanted look.

Thanksgiving 2019: *Remember (stab) when you posted (punch) my sad (slap) picture (noogie) on ebay (wedgie)? * — These kids do be kiLlin folk in their sleep, though… Lady, you might just want to let them tear stuff up til they move out. Why let 7 tubs stand between you and life? #whenSupernanny’sbusy

  • Boondock Saint

Because of the anti-spankers, parents are forced to get creative with disciplining. Just don’t sell the x-box unless you want your throat slit.

    • Illuminate Truth "I'd rather die as a lion than live as a lamb"

True indeed…take a couple layers of skin off that a$$ and they would have voluntarily switched to showers.

    • Boondock Saint

I just realized she’s gonna take the $125 that these boys have in the piggy bank and apply it to the repair bill. Damn, Mama don’t play! These boys are gonna have a psychotic hatred for bubble baths from now on.

  • if anything be noble

Ok so I’ve taken a quick look at the crime statistics and she DEFINITELY should NOT have done this. Not good. Run. Lady— Leave. The. House. NOW.— You. Can. BUY. A. Tooth. Brush.—– [dialing 1-800-Amber-Alert…]

I already see the chalk outline on the ground…

    • Boondock Saint

If you ask me, it looks like the boy on the right is more likely to be the cause of parts of his mother being found in multiple garbage bags. Look at the cold, unremorseful, emotionless stare. Kid’s most likely to eat her liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. [makes smacking sound with teeth]

    • daisy jay

      @Boondock Saint
LOL you’re right actually. The ones with the hidden emotions are always the ones that do the unexpected.

Did you just say fava beans?! Lmao ahhh that was funny. Don’t forget the mayonnaise! *snicker* jk jk

    • Boondock Saint

Heh heh. America’s Most Wanted circa 2021:

“Tonight, Police need your help in catching the Bathtub Slasher. He lures his victims into the bathtub and slashes them with Beyblades. Then eats them with mayo.”

    • daisy jay

LMAO you know how something’s so funny, you let out an ugly laugh? You just did that to me lol.

LOL slashes them with Beyblades! He determines his victims by whether they like Ebay or not haha. The whole bathroom will have Beyblade decor and he’ll have a secret basement with his “tools” to plot to make Ebay lose business.

But before all of this happens……he’ll go on Ebay to get his toys back.

    • Illuminate Truth "I'd rather die as a lion than live as a lamb"

      @ Boondock

You killin’ me over here with your “Breaking News Flash”…LMBAO.

Truth can be funnier than fiction.

  • Mrs. Rance

Its not like she beat them. Do people really expect kids to get away with everything these days? Had my children and their toys done hundreds of dollars of damage to the tub my dumb but probably would have just thrown them away and spanked the child. At least she is resourceful and that pic is beyone adorable. She needs to frame that.

  • if anything be noble

Ok so I’m reading some more stats WOMAN. BUY. THEM. A. PONY./ TAKE. THE. BOY. IN. BLUE. TO. DISNEY. TONIGHT/ CATCH. THE. RED. EYE.

  • whyohwhy

This never would have happened to me and my brother growing up for two reasons: 1) my mother would never buy 8 separate, loud toys for only 2 kids, and 2) there was too much stuff in the bathroom that could break, so we were never allowed to play in there in the first place. Seems like both rules could have saved her some cash and headaches if she’d bothered to enforce them. Though I’m amazed she knew enough to auction on eBay, yet didn’t know 8 Beyblades, her kids, and the tub were a bad combo.

  • spade

there go 2 krakas who will probably never take a bath again.

    • Illuminate Truth "I'd rather die as a lion than live as a lamb"

No biggie…they don’t use wash clothes anyway. They just rub soap over their body like thats somehow getting them clean.

*Scratching head and still pondering why that is…*

  • Chocolate Nightmare

Now that was hillarious. u poor thing. LMAO

  • Please

The look on the the lil boy;s face on the left is priceless. I fail to see the issue here. Mom’s said dont play with those toys in the bathtub. They did…got popped…pay the price.

Better be lucky it wasnt my mom. They would have gotten.

  • You Smell Me???

When I was a kid (Im 28) My mom beat me AND MY FRIENDS. She made me throw out my super soaker 50 because “other kids were putting bleach in them” and she “dont like guns” I paid for that gun with my own money I made taking out my neighbors garbage….

I was getting punished for what other kids were doing…lol

People need to stop being so PC about EVERYTHING.

  • http://bossip Pimp4ADay

You are supposed to let your kids know at an early age that there are consequencies for their action. The only thing she did wrong was putting their picture on the internet. It went from punishment to humiliation.

  • tracey

Psh, there is NOTHING wrong with this. I’ve given my kids’ Christmas presents away two days after Christmas for cutting up. Good for her.
