Tamera Mowry Is Taking A Break From Working, Focusing On Wedding

For Tamera Mowry, work will just have to take a backseat to wedding planning. The Sister Sister star just announced her engagement to Adam Housley in late January, but is full-steam ahead for her May 15 nuptials. “I’m actually going to take a break from work because it’s been a little bit stressful,” she tells PEOPLE. “I want to focus on this huge transition that’s happening to me. I really want to soak it in.”

Luckily, Mowry has pregnant twin Tia to help. “I’m picking out flowers and helping making sure the place is how she wants it and that kind of stuff,” Tia says. “She’s had her little bridezilla moments, but she’s been pretty cool.”

And, even in the midst of booking locations – “everything needs to be by a beach,” Tia says – and choosing centerpieces, Tamera is most excited about spending the rest of her life with Housley, who is an on-air reporter for Fox News Channel.

“[My favorite part of being engaged is] knowing that I will have a partner forever,” Tamera says, tearing up. “Knowing that he’s not going anywhere.”

Congrats to her, but we didn’t even know that her “career” was even poppin like that to be taking “breaks”…
