Just Stop Talking!!! Breezy Says He’s Done Apologizing For Confusing Rihanna With A Punching Bag

- By Bossip Staff

Does Breezy not realize that people have been running everything he says under a microscope for the last two years??

More potent quotables from Page Six Magazine’s in depth Chris Brown feature were released to day. And white folks will be talking.

Chris Brown is aware of his own infamy.

The singer, 21, is frank with Page Six Magazine (in Thursday’s New York Post) about the ongoing fallout from his February 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

“People are always gonna talk. But I’m in a positive place. I consider myself a grown-ass man,” says the star, whose new album F.A.M.E. stands for “Forgiving All My Enemies.”

Speaking of forgiveness, Brown says he’s done apologizing for the brutal Rihanna attack. “At the end of the day,” muses the “Forever” singer, “if I walk around apologizing to everybody, I’m gonna look like a damn fool.”

Oy! Can’t we get John Mayer or Yeezy to mentor this fool or something.

No one will stop talking about that, he’s a hypocrite for one, bc he stated in an interview that he hates men who beat on women. He also stated that his mom married a man who hit her frequently and he couldn’t stand to see her hurt. So why would he do that to female, I bet this won’t be the last time he does something stupid.

    • Smart23yroldBlackchick

chris looks old and terrible for 21yrs olf..He looks more like 27ish

I feel he should SHUT UP about Rihanna….Rihanna hit him first and she lied so he should just shut up….

He’s making himself look bad & he keeps reminding the public about the little um “incident” with the Bajan pysco jealous ex girlfriend from HELL!!

@bluekid1: I feel you that generally White entertainers will get away with more (COUGH Lindsay Lohan), but I have no idea what you’re talking about Halle Berry or whatnot. As far Chris Brown goes, I don’t think he is mature or even a man at this point. Getting in a huff and tweeting random, childish crap, then deleting it seems to be a pattern. As a celeb, you HAVE to be able to take your lumps, and he seems to get way too angry.

And I still think HE thinks of himself as some sort of ‘victim’ in the media. His quote about how Oprah shouldn’t have said anything bec. he performed for her school in Africa is just perfect example…he doesn’t REALLY get it.

      NICE NEWS !
My friend Vanessa, a 25 yrs lady, has announced her wedding with a m’illionaire young man Ronald who is the CEO of a MNC. It’s amazing, she said she just posted her profile on a m’illionaire d’ating s’ite called ———-RichMatchmaker. ℃○M——– – and received his chat invitations a few days later. Then, everything went so well that I can’t believe it’s true! Every love story will unfold on it’s own..——-
He needs to just stop bringing it up.
Lmao he thinks hes a grown man now hes really talkin to much

  • Daisy Jay

Chris! Nobody gives a D@MN about you and Rihanna anymore! You don’t see her whining about your @ss, do you!? Sounds like you want her back! I mean you hooked up with a girl that looks JUST like her. You keep making songs about how you’re not “thinking about her” and you keep telling people you’ve moved on from that situation. Show it by never addressing it anymore! Rihanna was the ultimate victim in the incident, but she’s doing a better job at handling it than you? Are you serious!? Cry us a d@mn river! And dye your hair back to itss original color, you look like a godd@mn highlighter!

    Excuse my rant…

      lmao!

    • tee

she talked about it just as much as him and people took out certain quotes with her too, just to cause more drama
Everyone wants them to stop talking about it but the funny thing is that they are the only ones who really have the right to

    • London Baby

i don’t think its a case of him ‘choosing’ to talk about the situation who would voluntarily talk about such a hard time in their life, over and over again. People keep bringing it up, i’m pretty sure the interviewer like many others asked chris about how he feel about the incident. People are still caught up on it

    • Daisy Jay

I know both of them were interviewed and shared their sides of the incident. But it’s obvious that Chris is bumping his gums a lot more than she is.

Even if Chris keeps being asked, he seriously doesn’t have to answer. It’s a part of HIS personal life. Something HE has to deal with. Nobody is holding a gun to his head and making him talk. If he really did move on, he would refuse to talk to anybody about the subject ever again. No pap or television host in the world has the kind of power to force him to speak. None.

I actually understand what he’s saying. People are always going to ask, you do have to move on, learn something and show how much of a better man you’ve become.

  • coz

Men you must take through advice given to women leave her azz!

  • JustAshley

    He’s right.

  • No u can't be boyfriend #2!

He (in my opinion mind you) is making it worse by stating that he’s done apologizing for it…just stop talking about it and what you’re not going to do! Sheeez!

  • Ms.Jones

Im sorry but everyone makes mistakes it is time for everyone to move on…Really I don’t know the story of what she did to him to make him hit her, so for all I know his actions could have been justified. I know a lot of people will not agree with me, but I think that if a woman puts her hands on a man he has the right to protect himself and if I have a son that is what I am going to teach him, don’t be a punching bag for anyone.Girls included. My mom taught me don’t hit anyone unless you expect to get hit back.Soooo…

    • Daisy Jay

I see what you’re saying and I kinda agree, but I’m gonna take the keyword “protect”. When a woman starts hitting a man, he DOES have the right to protect himself. Which means that he can either restrain her or shield himself. Protecting isn’t the same as hitting. I’m against domestic violence, but I have noticed that some girls just take the right to hit men to their advantage. They will put him in a coma for no reason. I feel that SOME women deserve to get smacked up about once or twice, but I don’t think Rihanna even went that far. It would’ve been obvious. She probably yelled and blah blah. Perhaps put her hands on him in anger. Chris didn’t have the right to touch her, period. Of course we forgive him for what he did and we are over the extreme irony of it all. But he’s crippling himself by always bringing it up. The whole world moved on, but he hasn’t. Until he forgives HIMSELF – because I believe he hasn’t -, everything will keep crippling and haunting him.

    • TK

Did u by any chance see him bruised up with a blackened eye and a busted lip. If she slapped him and he slapped her back then that wud have been justified. Just shows what kind of person u r.

    • Daisy Jay

What do I have to do with this? Gtfoh with that.

This was ONE incident. It’s not like Rihanna is an abusive person. I shall repeat, this was the FIRST incident where she really hit him. And like I said before it was out of anger. He should have shielded himself and walked off. Don’t excuse him. Now if there were several situations where she would beat on him and he would always be “submissive” to it, then it would be a different story. But that’s not what it is.

    • Hello

@Daisy Jay you act like you know the basis of their relationship? You talking like you know. Shut up cause everyone heard different stories. I heard they both were fairly abusive, so…

  • mixed bad chick

Where is bluekid1 @? Sure is funny how he just up n disappears.

    • http://bluekid1.wordpress.com bluekid1

I’m right here, Chris Brown needs to just stop talking about it, and people need to move on and stop acting like he whooped their azz.

  • tinkerbell

Chris you have to move on. I know the industry is still dwn on you. But keep your head up and keep believing it will work out..Rihanna is just not worth it. Maybe what happened is a blessing in disguise. I also know that you have lost concerts based on what happened. Be Blessed.

  • BayouSwampMan

To all the people going to the far left, did you take a second to think about what he is saying?

Imagine if he were still apologizing for this when its been over 2 years ago. He has paid his debt to society & if you have a problem with what he paid, that’s an issue with our justice system & not him.

I understand what he means completely. He would look like a sad, pathetic, sympathy seeking puppy & would never hear the end of it in the midst of constant ridicule if he keeps apologizing.

    • angryblkman

Damn somebody makin sense for once

  • afro british

Some sins are hard to forgive
violence towards women-sexual or beating are simply no no. The image of RIRI were so terrible. If he had done drugs-self harm people would have forgiven him. Now those tatts and body mutilation and bizarre hair are not helping with the clean cut image he sold us.

    • anonymous

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! REALLY?!? It’s not your place to forgive him. Move on…

    • Mrs. Rance

Uh, yes it is. His money comes from the public. If he is not forgiven by millions of people he doesn’t even know his income will be adversely effected.

    • afro british

      @anon
His target audience is mainly women, all sorts of women (smart, educated, abused, fat, skinny….) Women bought into his CLEAN CUT BRAND. The day he beat up a WOMAN. He committed BRAND SUICIDE. The brand machine is hard to clear because of those TMZ pictures. I like his music, and believe he is talented. Him as a person, I might think twice.

    • Hello

@Mrs. Rance, uhh no it is not your place to forgive. He dont owe you anything, that is his life he is living. Forgiveness is between him, God, and Rhianna. You have no hell or heaven to put him in and really no place to judge hunny. People kill me thinking just because you buy his cd he owe you something, at the end of the day it is a business. You buy his music because you like it, you are not donating the money, you get something for it; a finished product. He owes you nothing, eiter you gone buy his music or not.

    • Mrs. Rance

      Hello

The point is he needs us to buy the music. If we don’t his income is effected and the label’s income is effected and they ain’t having that. They will drop him. That is why forgiveness from the public is important. That’s my only point. I don’t hate the guy and have seen him live (with my daughter) and bought posters and T-Shirts. But he’s just not getting it right now and that’s too bad.

    • http://bluekid1.wordpress.com bluekid1

@ Mrs. Rance, your husband right now sexing your best friend while you are on here acting like Chris Brown makes you buy his music, no one makes any body by their music if you don’t want to buy his music don’t buy it, but I all ready have pre-ordered and bought 5 CDs of FAME and I will be buying 5 more CD to make up for the 5 bytches that feel the way you do. So by all means STFU and take care of your husband.

  • Lady Elle

I understand what he’s saying. I’m not getting all the hoopla about this topic either.

  • Trew

Unfortunately for Chris, the Rihanna incident will be a topic that follows him for the rest of his life. The aftershocks of some mistakes last longer than others. For goodness sake he beat the stone cold shhhit out of a famous pop star, how in the world does he expect folks to not remember or to stop talking about it.

  • Megamen

WHO CARES women are equals they an take a @ss wooping from a men like a men

    • Mel

Most women, even if they are the same size as a man, will have MUCH less upper body strength. this isn’t something I can joke about, because I *have* seen a man fight a woman, and it was so obvious that double standards exist for a reason.. 99% of the time the man WILL overwhelm the woman. There’s a REASON Rihanna looked like she got beat up, while he looked fine..

  • TK

I think most people don’t care about Rihanna because she is not American or European. Had it been Britney or even Beyonce for that matter then people would be seeking blood from whom ever the abuser was.

    • Mel

I tend to agree..if Jayz had done the same thing to Beyonce, I highly doubt the urban community would be riding for him as hard as they ride for Chris Brown.

      Im sorry, but its true.

    • http://bluekid1.wordpress.com bluekid1

Rihanna is a successful young lady, and her being from some where else does not play in the situation. Rihanna has moved on from that a year ago and you fools are still here having a pity party while her white body guard is feeling her up and disrespecting her in public. STFU!

  • Mrs. Rance

Glory be to The Father. Chris needs to go off to a nice tropical destination with his lovely lady and chill for a month or two. Just get his head right. God help him.
