Ne-Yo Says He Wasn’t Hating On Snooki, But…

- By Bossip Staff

He still thinks Rolling Stone magazine was on that bullsh*t for putting her on their cover.

Here’s what he told 97.9 The Box’s Madd Hatta Morning Show about his Twitter comments:

“I’m gonna go on the record and say I don’t have no beef with Snooki..I’m not disrespecting Snook… atleast I didn’t feel like I was.. I don’t know that girl.

Congratulations Snooki, you pimped the system. You found a way to get on a magazine that has nothing to do with you… She does reality tv. Rolling Stone is a prestigious music magazine. How the Hell did Snooki get on the cover of Rolling Stone?. I was mad at the system, I wasn’t mad at her… I’ve been in the game 6 years, Ive got 3 Grammys, 3 multi platinum albums hits on myself, hits on other people and Rolling Stone ain’t so much look in my direction… I just feel like she shouldn’t be on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.”

He kind of has a point thought. Do you think he’s just being salty?

It’s amazing, she said she just posted her profile on a m’illionaire d’ating s’ite called ———-RichMatchmaker. ℃○M——– – and received his chat invitations a few days later. Then, everything went so well that I can’t believe it’s true! Every love story will unfold on it’s own..——-
comparing apples to peppers. He has every right to feel slighted but he should have intially focused his judgement against the magazine first. But then again, by doing so, he added to the media firestorm and gave them more free attention.

  • ladyinblue

Well has there ever been a person on the cover who was not in the music industry? Is Snooki the first one? If not then his argument is moot. If so he is exactly right.

True. She is the least person I don’t know qualified to grace the cover, but this is today’s new fad. Reality tv is taking over the media these days and everybody is tuned in to this bs… SMH

  • Trini Sazon

hey hes right … snookie doesnt do ishh but sleep with random men on jersey shore and she gets put on rolling stones .. i gotta be honest i was unaware people still buy the rolling stone magazine

  • Sanriobaby =^.^=

I understand what Ne-yo is saying, but just like the above post states, Rolling Stone isn’t just about music, it touches on whatever is currently going on, and like it or not, Snookie is a new member of our pop culture. She has alot of fans, and pop culture junkies are fascinated by her popularity. Rolling Stone knew exactly what it was doing by putting her on the cover, the free media attention over it is simply priceless. Ne-yo is incredibly sucessful in his own right, but it’s like comparing apples to peppers. He has every right to feel slighted but he should have intially focused his judgement against the magazine first. But then again, by doing so, he added to the media firestorm and gave them more free attention.
