Best rapper EVER?! D. King seems to think he is…
But is Hip Hop ready for his ego?!
Formerly signed as a teen to Carter Faculty – Jay Z’s imprint with artist development guru Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith, D. King is ready to make his comeback.
Working off the buzz he created working on projects which include: the Purple City Byrdgang/Dipset album “Roads to Riches,” Jim Jones presents “The Purple Album,” and his personal project, hosted by Hot 97’s DJ Kay Slay, “King Me,” which was recognized by MTV as the mixtape pick of the week, D. King is ready to claim his title as “Best rapper EVER!”
Due to drop his upcoming project entitled “Behind the Music: Seat’s Taken,” featuring the baddest b*tch Trina, Snoop Dogg, Tierra Marie, and Pusha T to name a few, D. King takes it to his fans:
“Every emotion that a 25 year old, big dreamer can experience on the biggest, boldest production scale. If rap doesn’t move forward, where does it go? I have crafted the most important, unexpected, sophisticated debut album in rap history. I watched the Blueprint get created that’s why I got the youth and experience to call myself D. King. In the streets I’m a Don and in rap I’m truly the King. I plan to make an album that’s gonna define a generation. I’m in a different world, I exist somewhere between Kanye West and Ice Cube. The most underground and most commercial at the same time. Who did that before?”
Catch a little teaser of “Be Timid” off his upcoming album “Behind the Music: Seat’s Taken,” to drop this fall.
Best rapper ever?! You be the judge…
