What Were You Thinking?? Intern Says He Didn’t Steal Ten Gs From Steve Harvey, But He’ll Pay It Back
SMH. People are just plain dumb sometimes.
One of Steve Harvey’s interns thought he could get away with jacking $10,000 from Steve’s office. Which has a security camera in it. But that wasn’t his dumbest move.
Reynolds, who was not authorized to be in the office, told one of Harvey’s associates he just wanted to get a Coke but the video shows him leaving the room without a soft drink in hand. The missing cash had been delivered just prior to the theft by a bank employee, the report states.
Questioned by his supervisor and Harvey, the intern claimed innocence. He later sent the supervisor a text message stating, “I am gonna get him the money just so I can end this,” according to police.
Word? That’s basically a confession dummy. And now, Reynolds has quietly slipped off the Clark Atlanta campus and is back in NY.
In other words: he just confirmed, beyond any reasonable doubt, that he’s a thief.
