Today (April 25), marks the 9th anniversary of the death of beloved R&B emcee, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.
Lopes rose to stardom as a member of the of the R&B threesome TLC, consisting of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas.
As the hip hop half of the Grammy winning trio, Left Eye provided infectiously memorable rap verses on such TLC hits as “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg,” “What About Your Friends,” “Hat 2 da Back,” “No Scrubs” and “Waterfalls.”
