Every year millions of women get pregnant. And every year, along with swollen feet, weight gain, and pressured bladders, millions of women give up on sex for nearly an entire year when they really don’t have to. This article is a compilation of FAQs regarding sex during pregnancy.
Can I Have Sex When I’m Pregnant?
Yes! You can have sex when you’re pregnant right up to the delivery time. For some reason, many women assume that pregnancy puts a moratorium on their sex life. If it does, that’s mainly due to the discomfort you or your spouse may feel about pregnancy. I’ve witnessed, especially in younger father-to-bes, something that borders repulsion at the idea of sex with their pregnant wives/girlfriends. I attribute this mostly to the lack of maturity and knowledge in regards to a woman’s body. But it’s something to think about-if your spouse seems uncomfortable or disgusted by other natural female bodily mechanisms (like your period), he may not be interested in getting it on when you’re pregnant either.
