Minnesota Timberwolves GM Thinks NBA Rigged The Draft Lottery
Conspiracy Theory: Did The NBA Rig The Draft To Help Out Cleveland’s Sorry A$$es?
Looks like somebody thinks the NBA was up to some shady business.
The Minnesota Timberwolves GM David Kahn is bitter that the NBA draft lottery ended up in Cleveland’s favor instead of his sorry team’s. He thinks it had something to do with Dan Gilbert’s son being so damn cute and cuddly:
“This league has a habit, and I am just going to say habit, of producing some pretty incredible story lines. Last year it was Abe Pollin’s widow and this year it was a 14-year-old boy (Nick Gilbert, son of the Cavs owner) and the only thing we have in common is we have both been bar mitzvahed. We were done. I told (Jazz GM Kevin O’Connor): ‘We’re toast.’ This is not happening for us and I was right.”
So Dave clearly has no heart. Maybe these NBA owners need to take a moment before releasing these statements because they only make us hate them. You think the NBA is rigged?
