Tiger Woods backed out of the U.S. Open to heal his wounds and there seems to be a kid ready to take his spot.
Rory Mcllroy, a 22-year-old kid from Northern Ireland looks like the Lucky Charms guy, but he’s killing the field at the Open this weekend. Rory just set a record by scoring 11-under through two rounds, the best two rounds ever in the tournament.
People are already saying he’s the next Tiger and someone that can beat down the legend when he makes his return. The only catch is the fact that Mcllroy choked at the Masters and he could still pull a LeBron and lose at the end of the tournament.
Do you think this fuss is deserved or are we headed for more inflated expectations from someone that won’t measure up?
