With the NFL already locked out, it looks like we may be facing a long time before we get to see any sports we care about. The NBA is next to have a work stoppage.
The NBA team owners met and decided that if the players don’t sign their new labor proposal then the owners will lock the players out. By all accounts, the owners and players are on totally different planets when it comes to finding a new collective bargaining agreement and figuring out how to split $4.3 billion in revenue. This means we may see the first work stoppage in the NBA in 12 years.
If the NBA and NFL both have work stoppages, then we’ll be totally without our two favorite sports in the fall. What are we going to do?!
